Toy Resale Info. . .
The Council of Catholic Women is sponsoring the second annual toy resale just in time for Christmas saving and Christmas giving. The sale will be in St. Dominic’s gym on Saturday, November 22, 2008, from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Watch the bulletin for dates and times for registration for sellers. Check your basements and attics for gently used toys that your kids no longer play with and prepare for the resale!
There will be a registration fee (refundable only with 2 hours of volunteer service); payable by check or cash. Sellers keep 75%! Space is limited, so sign up soon!

CCW TOY RESALE
Seller Information
- Registration Fee: $10 payable by check (per seller #) or cash
- Only one seller # per person is allowed and one name per #.
- Registration fee is refunded to those sellers who work a 2 hour shift
- NO registrations taken after the last registration date
- Sellers retain 75% of their total sales and St. Dominic/St. Francis CCW retains 25%
- Seller checks are only distributed on Saturday at the designated time for pick up of unsold items
- Seller must price items in increments of .25. ( .75, $1.50. 1.00)
Tags
- Tags will be handed out on registration dates only
- Sellers receive 80 color-coded tags. (Returning 2007 Children sellers have 40 stickers for tags)
- Attach all tags to the upper right hand corner of an item as you are facing it
- DO NOT over write or cross out information on the tag or the item will be rejected
- You cannot exceed the maximum number of tags
- Only current color tags may be used
Tag Completion Information- Seller number: Given to you at registration, must be clearly written on the 2 designated places on the tags or the items will be rejected
- Name: your name, not the brand name of article
- Color: of the item or general pattern
- Description: state type of item being sold, number of items if more than one and brand name
- Price: is the price of the item you are selling.
- Tape/Pin Here: is the place to attach the tag to all items. Tape is to be used on all other items. (NO SCOTCH TAPE) Please use clear shipping tape or masking tape. Excessive taping will result in having the item rejected.
Acceptable Items for Sale / NO STUFFED ANIMALS
- ONLY 10 BIG ITEMS CAN BE ENTERED TO SELL PER SELLER NUMBER. This includes play houses, bikes, trikes, etc.
- TOYS: All must be in good condition/no stuffed animals/tape games & puzzles shut IF PARTS ARE MISSING, PLEASE MARK IT ON THE TAG.
- ELECTRONICS: Must have working batteries to show it’s working and all electronics, accessories and cartridges must be in sealed and taped plastic bags.
- CHILDREN’S DANCE/SPORTS EQUIPMENT: Items such as ballet/tap shoes, rollerblades, rubber spiked shoes, aqua shoes, baseball bats, sport gloves/pads, and skates, roller blades, etc. Sport shoes are to be tied together by the shoelaces or with a piece of string or yarn.
- NO CLOTHING BABY EQUIPMENT OR FURNITURE WILL BE ACCEPTED (Except Costumes & Sports Equipment i.e. Football gear)
**Receiving/Drop off Information: Sellers will assist at drop off SEE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FIRST SHEET
- NO EARLY OR LATE DROP OFFS WILL BE ACCEPTED
- Upon arrival, check in with the coordinator first and know approximately how many items you wish to sell. Maximum quantity of items per seller is 84 items
- Sellers will help place the items in the correct areas (Barbies, electronics, sports, board games, etc.)
- Bring in your 10 big items first for testing/checking
**Pick up Information: SEE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FIRST SHEET
- Pick up of sellers checks, unsold items and sellers fee (for those who have worked a minimum of 2 hours)
- EVERYTHING LEFT AFTER 4:30 PM will be considered a donation
- Seller checks are to be cashed within 30 days
- Check the lost/found table at time of pick up to see if any of your items are there. These items lost their tags during the sale and could not be sold
General Information
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED ITEMS YOU PLACE IN THIS SALE
- If a price tag is removed, lost improperly filled out, or incomplete, the item will not be sold
- We are not responsible for returning any hangers, boxes and bags in which toys are brought
- You determine the selling price. Any item not priced is considered a reject as we cannot not price the item for you. Do not overprice items you really want to sell
- There will be NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. All sales are FINAL
- There is NO SMOKING in the building at any time
